Iceland's new Minister of Environment: 'Work together to conserve our planet'

Iceland’s liberal Prime Minister, Sigmundur Davíð Gunnlaugsson, has announced Sigrún Magnúsdóttir as the new Minister of Environment and Natural Resources. Her appointment makes the Icelandic cabinet, led by LI full member Progressive Party, completely gender balanced. New Icelandic minister of Environment : “Work together to conserve our planet.”
Commenting exclusively for LI on her new appointment as Minister of Environment, Mrs Magnúsdóttir said “Earth is our common home and our only home. It is crucial that we all work together to conserve our planet that support our wellbeing. I have never shied away from new tasks and challenges.”
