Stjórnmálaskóli fyrir konur af erlendum uppruna – A Class in Politics, for Immigrant Women

Langar þig að bjóða þig fram til Alþingis eða kynnast íslenskum stjórnmálum? Viltu kynnast öðrum konum af erlendum uppruna sem hafa áhuga á stjórnmálum?

Vertu velkomin á námskeið Kvenréttindafélags Íslands fyrir konur af erlendum uppruna um stjórnmál og pólitískt starf.
Á námskeiðinu verður farið yfir starf og stefnumál helstu stjórnmálaflokka og hagsmunasamtaka, farið yfir „óskrifaðar reglur“ stjórnmálanna, framsaga og ræðuhöld kennd og unnið að tengslamyndun þátttakenda. Í lok námskeiðsins gengur þú út með áætlun um hvernig þú getur breytt samfélaginu!
Námskeiðið tekur 7 vikur og kennt er á mánudagskvöldum. Þátttökugjald er EKKERT.

Do you want to run for Parliament or just find out more about how politics in Iceland work? Do you want to meet other immigrant women who are interested in politics?
Join us at training course in politics hosted by the Icelandic Women’s Rights Association.
This course will introduce you to the largest political parties and associations in Iceland and teach you how to quickly start working within your chosen party. You will learn the inner workings and “unwritten rules” of Icelandic politics, practice how to speak clearly and publicly, and get the opportunity to meet other women who share your interests in politics. By the end of the course, you will have a concrete plan on how you can change society!
The course lasts seven weeks and classes are taught on Monday evenings.
